Rhythm on the River 2011 Summer Schedule
Join us for a series of free concerts held on Friday evenings throughtout the Summer. All shows start at 8 p.m. and are free and open to the public. In the event of rain, shows are moved to the Court Street Grill.
- June 24, Geoff Achison & the Soul Diggers

- More than Australia's pre-eminent Blues guitarist, Geoff Achison is a musician of remarkable ability who has forged his own path and won fans World wide. Having taught himself to play in the isolation of rural Australia, he has developed a blues/funk style all his own that can be delicate one moment and explosive the next.
- July 1, Albert "the Kid" Castiglia

- Having paid his dues at an early age by backing the legendary Junior Wells, Miami based Albert Castiglia has been on his own since 2002. "The Kid" as Wells liked to call him, is a modern day Blues man who's soulful vocals and stinging guitar have him earning fans and praise Nation wide.
- July 8, Randy McAllister

- Randy McAllister is one of the premier singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist to emerge from Texas and a 2002 Grammy Nominee. Most recently, Randy can be seen on the new season of TruTV's "Full Throttle Saloon."
- July 15, the Gas House Gorillas

- The run-a-way hit of last years Blues Bash returns! Hailing from New Jersey and playing amped up Jump Blues, the Gas House Gorillas are easily "God's favorite Rhythm & Blues band."
- July 22, Scott Holt Band

- Nashville based and best known for being Buddy Guy's sideman, Scott Holt is widely recognized as one of the greatest guitar players of the modern era. Jaw dropping performances that leave his audiences breathless, weak in the knees and begging for more have become his signature.
- August 5, Eden Brent

- Born and raised in Greenville, MS, "Little Boogaloo" as she's known in the Blues World, is proof positive dynamite comes in small packages. Her piano playing and singing style ranges from a melancholic whisper to a full-blown juke joint holler.

- Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Dave "Biscuit" Miller has grown up to become one of the funkiest Blues men on the planet. A consummate front man with charisma, charm and chops to boot, Biscuit gives you a personal guarantee you're going to LOVE his "Blues Party!"
